Geoff gained his B Comm and CTA from the University of Natal (Pietermaritzburg) and his CA (SA) with Ernst & Young. He is a fellow and  a Certified Director  of the Institute of Directors.

His senior management experience arises from the  Managing  and Financial Director  positions held in a wide range of industries. 

He has extensive Financial and  manufacturing competencies  and has over the past  40 years contributed a wide range of management expertise to the following industries;            

• Motor assembly ,  International Harvester SA Ltd  (USA),
• Portfolio management , Hill Samuel PLC (UK),
• Manufacturing  and engineering industries, Metal Box SA and Nampak Ltd  (international)
• Refining and mining , Rand Refinery Ltd

Besides managing roles he has undertaken consulting ( taxation ) , risk management ( including treasury and audit ) and environmental  management  within these disciplines.

He has managed  a wide range of community and social responsibilities over the years. 

Finally Geoff is a family man with a range of sporting interests including golf, cycling and gym.
