Ken Jarvis
With more than 36 years of experience in the IT field, Ken now runs his own company and specializes in coaching, mentoring, trouble-shooting (especially projects that are 'out of control'), IT strategies and IT structuring.
Ken has been a CIO in major corporates (Momentum Life, Anglo Platinum, Multichoice, Naspers, SARS) for over 20 years and also ran a Stock Exchange listed Software Development Company for 2 years.
Ken has achieved a number of awards:
- Was runner up in the IT Personality of the Year competition in 2003
- Was the winner in the ICT Leadership award in 2004
- Was the Public Sector CIO of the year in 2004
He has also presented to over 5000 people in Cannes on the success of the SARS ‘Single View of the Client’ project. At a gala dinner of the fourth annual GovTech 2009 conference of the State Information Technology Agency (SITA), an ICT Legends award was presented to Ken.
