Mervyn King (Prof)
Mervyn is a Senior Counsel and former Judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa. He is Professor Extraordinaire on Corporate Citizenship at UNISA, Honorary Professor in the Department of Marketing and Communication Management at the University of Pretoria, Visiting Professor in the Rhodes Investec Business School, has an honorary Doctor of Laws from Wits.
He is Chairman of the King Committee on Corporate Governance in South Africa, President of the Advertising Standards Authority and First Vice President of the Institute of Directors Southern Africa.
He has been the Chairman and director of companies listed on the London, Luxembourg and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges. He has consulted, advised and spoken on legal, business, advertising, sustainability and corporate governance issues in 44 countries and has received many awards.
