Your membership of EGN South Africa gives you access to a number of tools that you, as an executive, can make use of – in addition to the network meetings and the practical knowledge sharing.
Online sparring with regard to your challenges
If you are faced with a specific challenge, our digital query system provides you with lightning-fast, useful help from the network, either in your country or other EGN countries. Send a short text to EGN’s secretariat, which will pass on your question to the right members of the network. In next to no time, you will be in touch with experienced colleagues who are ready to help. Questions and answers are published on the closed member website – in anonymous form, if you so wish – so that other members can also read and learn from them. You can use the query system whenever and as often as you like.
Knowledge and contacts via the member website
All members have access to EGN South Africa’s closed member website. On the member website you will find your group’s own confidential site, where you can sign up for meetings, upload material, send group e-mails, and much more. Via the member website, you also have controlled access to all other members of the network. They are introduced with a photo and contact details to make it easy for you to get in touch with them.
Between-jobs scheme
Networking is also about career development. If you lose or leave your job, you can, as a member of EGN South Africa, remain in your professional network for up to two years while you make your next career move. 12 months after expiry of your membership fee, you can remain a member free of charge – as it is precisely in this kind of situation that you need your network. The scheme can be extended for a further 12 months for a modest fee.

As a member of EGN South Africa, you can share knowledge with your peers in a small, confidential group – and you have access to other business executives all over the world. Your membership gives you access to practical knowledge sharing at many levels.
All network groups in EGN South Africa are headed by a professional chair with experience and competence within the group’s subject area. Many of our chairs come from executive positions in large companies and organisations.
The network group consists of 20–25 executives at the same level of management. The group meets at least 6 times a year. One of EGN South Africa’s experienced chairs looks after the operation of the group and chairs the meetings to optimise the use of time and ensure everyone benefits.
A year’s membership costs between R24'900 and R29'900 excluding Vat and is usually paid for by your company. The difference in price reflects the number of meetings and managerial level.
